Current Golf Course Superintendent at Oxley Golf Club in Brisbane, Glenn knows everything his wife Emma doesn’t know about golf courses. Having been a greenkeeper for 27 years and working at some of the finest course – The Grand, Royal Pines and Robina Woods, while also being involved in the preparation of theses courses for the tournaments of: Royal Pines Ladies Masters and The Australian Open at the Grand in 2000. When he’s not out working on his greens at Oxley or mowing his own home lawn, Glenn loves to punt, go fishing or crabbing and watching his beloved South Sydney Bunnies (hopefully beating the roosters).

Our beloved Photographer and head of Administration – your tour wouldn’t go as smooth if it weren’t for Kari and her booking / checking and rechecking of your tour details. Kari’s background consists of Hotels/ Wedding Venues & Photography. So while juggling the golfOZ office, her partner Steve and daughter Ella (11 ), dog DzRosiedz, cat DzMissydz, Kari is a busy bee. Kari’s only love in the sporting world is cricket – Ponting was & will always be her favourite, however in recent times she is a big BBL fan and in the off season Masterchef & Survivor are her go too!

Our main pain in the butt driver – the one that everyone loves – Big Al. Would sell ice to Eskimo’s – god he can talk. Al has been driving with golfOZ since Emma had Chloe and is a big part of the team. Al loves talking, knows the Gold Coast inside out, is a country boy from Finley and can chat on all levels about sport, politics, general gossip etc. Al doesn’t play golf that regularly however that may change since as he finally had both hips done and both knees reconstructed. Al loves his footy – preferably AFL, and is a hands on hubby at home – the house reno king in between driving the golf groups around while still happily married to wife Susan, daughter Willow(9) and son Rowdy (6).

Our young driver Sam, is shared between us and Lakelands, so don’t get confused if he has the wrong name badge on for the day or you see him working the proshop. Sam, originally from Parkdale Melbourne has been on the Goldie since 2010 and currently lives at home with his mum, dad & 2 x brothers and his black Labrador dog DzMollydz. Sam is a NRL Cowboy supporter and AFL Carlton fan, but most of all loves the beach, golf & the gym. Sam comes to golfOZ with a wide variety of experience after working for The Glades, Royal Pines and Sanctuary Cove golf courses. His goal this year in golf is to get to single figures, so if you have a spot in your group, don’t hesitate to ask him to fill in and play.

Ian has come out retirement to get out of the house and away from the wife for a few hours each day. Ian has had a lot of work experience from being a trained chef, to a customer service rep at Ansett Australia and then moving onto Qantas. As an x kiwi he is obviously an Allblack fan, and anyone vs the Wallabies. Loves F1, V8 Supercars, Super Rugby. He has a great sense of humour – mainly dry, so feel free to have a sledge or two. His lives at Emerald Lakes on course with his lovely wife Chrissie, 2 grown up children Stef and Dan, and rescue dog Tilly.

A Pom, immigrated from the U.K – Yorkshire lad and now currently an Aussie Citizen, and is an ex banel beater now loving life as a golf tour driver. Currently a member of RACV Royal Pines and plays at any given opportunity thanks to his very amazing & understanding wife, Kay. An avid QLD maroons supporter and loves all Aussie sports even against the Pom’s – he is not a turn coat, but will support the Poms as his 2nd team. With his family all now grown up, Gaz is now looking after grandkids / parents and of course all our golfers!

Accounting in the Travel & Tourism industry has been Keith’s passion for over 40 years. Keith brings with him a vast amount of expertise from his years with Airlines, Rent a Car, Travel Wholesalers & Retailers and Tour Operators both in Australia & Overseas. He has served on a NSW Regional Tourism Advisory Board, and with large corporations prior to moving to the Gold Coast 30 years ago, where he has lectured in Travel & Tourism Studies both on the Coast and in Brisbane. Keith interests are politics, history, anything Scottish (he loves wearing his kilt), travel and his lovely wife Pamela and her family of gorgeous daughters and granddaughters.
